COUNCILLOR BEN STENNETT

COUNCILLOR STENNETT WAS RE-ELECTED TO COUNCIL IN OCTOBER 2020

 

Ben's tertiary qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science, and a Graduate Diploma of Education and a Graduate Certificate in Development Planning. The majority of his career has been within the education sector in various capacities, and is currently employed as a Primary School teacher.

 

​Councillor Stennett is an active member of our community:

• Current member and Past President Rotary Club of Nunawading

• Current member of the Lions Club of Nunawading

• Secretary of Neighbourhood Watch Whitehorse

• Current member of the playing group at the Mitcham Cricket Club

• Member of the Whitehorse Historical Society

​His areas of interest on Council include ensuring people of all ages in our city have an opportunity to have a say on matters that affect them, improving our local community and sporting facilities, preserving our bush reserves, parkland and open space, opposing inappropriate development and supporting initiatives which protect our neighbourhood character.
